Soccer Camp, 2011

With the help of local churches and other individuals, Goalline Ministries organized over 20 meals to feed soccer and golf players before the school year began. To the students, this was an expression of God's love in action.

New Christians

During the 2010--2011 school year, nine students became new believers and the majority of those have already been baptized. God is truly blessing this ministry through the adopt-a-families, Bible study leaders, various church members, community members and countless others.

Recognition

Goalline Ministries was awarded the Thomas University President's Award in October, 2010. This award was given by Dr. Gary Bonvillian, President of Thomas University, in a formal ceremony that included community guests, University Trustees and other dignitaries. This recognition solidified the ministry's importance on campus.

Survivor

Atttendance at Survivor grew by leaps and bounds. The average number in attendance each week was appproximately 60-70. Students had the opportunity to play games, listen to Christian music, and hear exceptional speakers. And, of course, eat lots of food!

Missions

Several TU students accompanied members of local churches on mission trips to Nicaragua and Panama. In addition, students assisted churches with activities througout the year such as leading Bible studies during the Disciple Now Weekend.

Squad Day

Squad day was a great success this year for Goalline Ministries and the Thomas University athletic department. In attendance at Squad day, we had several of the Thomas University teams. Included in these teams were: Women’s Golf, Men’s Soccer, Softball, and Baseball. Also at Squad day, we had the great pleasure to listen to Anna Hall sing for us. Anna Hall is a sophomore here at Thomas University and she is also an athlete on the Softball team. Anna Hall was asked and diligently accepted the offer to sing and did a wonderful job in performing in front of the entire First Baptist Church of Thomasville.
